Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum age for this package?▼
This package is designed for travelers 55 years and above. However, we assess fitness individually. Some 60-year-olds are fitter than 45-year-olds!
Is medical support available throughout the trip?▼
Our vehicles carry oxygen cylinders and basic medical kit. A doctor is available on-call in Leh. For seniors with conditions, we recommend travel with medical reports.
Why do we stay only in Leh and not at high altitude camps?▼
High altitude camps at Pangong (14,270 ft) and Nubra can be challenging for seniors. We do day trips to these places but return to Leh (11,500 ft) for comfortable sleep at lower altitude.
Can wheelchair users join this trip?▼
Limited accessibility exists in Ladakh. Some sites have stairs. Please contact us with specific needs - we design custom accessible itineraries where possible.
Is travel insurance mandatory for seniors?▼
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering high altitude travel. We can suggest providers experienced with senior Ladakh travel.
What about dietary restrictions and medication schedules?▼
Share your diet requirements and medication schedule in advance. We ensure meals align with restrictions and remind you of medication timings.

At 72, this was my most adventurous trip! Proof that dreams have no age. Thank you for making it possible.
Good for seniors but requires basic fitness. The short walks at monasteries were manageable with rest breaks.
