Frequently Asked Questions

What bikes are provided on this trip?

Royal Enfield Himalayan 411cc or Classic 350cc. Both are ideal for Ladakh terrain. You can request preference (subject to availability). All bikes are well-maintained with full service before each trip.

Do I need a special license to ride in Ladakh?

A valid Indian motorcycle license is sufficient for Indian nationals. Foreign nationals need an International Driving Permit (IDP) with motorcycle endorsement.

What if I am not experienced at riding in mountains?

You should have at least basic motorcycle riding experience. Day 2 includes warm-up rides on easier roads. Our guides ride with you and offer tips. However, complete beginners should consider our regular packages.

What happens if the bike breaks down?

A backup vehicle follows the group with a mechanic, spare parts, and extra fuel. Minor breakdowns are fixed on the spot. Major issues mean bike swap from backup vehicle.

Is fuel easily available on the route?

Fuel stations are in Leh and Karu. We carry extra fuel for remote stretches. Your tank is always topped up before leaving civilization.

Can I bring my own bike?

Yes! We offer a self-bike option at reduced cost. Your bike should be a minimum 350cc and well-serviced. We provide route guidance and backup support.
