Our guide Maria was outstanding - clearly passionate about Goan history and architecture. She didn't just recite facts but told stories that brought the churches to life. The pace was perfect for all ages in our group. When she noticed my elderly mother struggling with the heat, she adjusted our route to include more shaded stops. Thoughtful and knowledgeable.
Usually heritage walks are boring but this was genuinely engaging. Maria answered every question we had about Portuguese influence, Inquisition history, and architecture details. The bakery stop was a delightful addition - the bebinca and pastels were delicious. The whole walk was well-paced with proper breaks. Worth every rupee for history lovers.
Very informative walk with a knowledgeable guide. Appreciated the early morning timing to avoid crowds at the churches. The snacks included were a nice touch. Only reason for 4 stars is the walk could include more time at the Archaeological Museum which was fascinating. But overall, excellent introduction to Old Goa's heritage.
